Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using SocioLedger. By accessing or using our jewellery ERP, AI accounting, and billing platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the SocioLedger platform, you enter into a binding agreement with SocioLedger (operated by its parent entity). These terms apply to all users, including trial users, paid subscribers, and administrators.

2. Use of Service

SocioLedger is designed to help jewellery businesses — including retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers — manage billing, inventory, accounting, karigar workflows, and GST compliance. You agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful business purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform or its APIs
• Not upload content that is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights
• Maintain accurate account and business information at all times

3. Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities performed under your account, including by team members you invite
• Immediately notifying us at hello@socioledger.com if you suspect any unauthorised access

SocioLedger is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised access due to your failure to protect your credentials.

4. Subscription and Payments

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Your subscription:

• Automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• Can be cancelled at any time from your account settings
• Is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy for any payment disputes

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest to protect your data. You are responsible for ensuring that data you upload or enter is accurate and authorised. See our Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is handled.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, content, and AI models within the SocioLedger platform are the exclusive property of SocioLedger and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for internal business purposes only.

7. Service Modifications and Availability

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of the platform at any time. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of significant changes. SocioLedger is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocioLedger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability in any calendar month shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the preceding three months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
